Commercial Builder San Francisco Bay Area JOB TITLE: Project Manager/Project Engineer/Estimator JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a highly recognized top rated general contractor is seeking Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Estimators to join their commercial construction team. This technical builder is involved in both the public and private sector handling everything form commercial Tenant Improvement to High Tech and Pharma / Biotech Construction. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Manager • Be responsible for all phases of projects from pre-construction to close out • Maintain relations with clients, sub-contractors, team, etc. • Create project schedules, reports, and budgets • Maintain work logs of all project documentation to ensure compliance • Provide job costing and commitment reports Project Engineer • Assist Project Manager with project contract documents review. • Assist Project Manager with project start up. • Work with the Project Team to develop and implement remedies to address cost overruns • Develop and maintain professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors. • Work with the Project Manager to maintain schedule. • Assure that all applicable Company policies and procedures are implemented on the project. Estimator • Be responsible for all phases of projects from pre-construction to close out • Coordinate the quantity take-off for projects • Contact subcontractors and suppliers (i.e. Truckers, material providers) requesting quotes to successfully bid a project • Utilize estimating system to comprise an accurate budget or bid for private sector work, conferring with Field Operations on project requirements, productions, job restrictions, staffing, competitive advantages (i.e., shortest haul routes), subcontractor experience, etc. Requirements • Bachelors Degree • 3+ years experience with commercial construction (preferably Healthcare, Advanced Technology, or Biopharm) • Understanding of Construction Project Management • Knowledge of scheduling and general construction • Experience in managing construction build is a plus Please send resumes to <a href="mailto:bryan@grauss.com"> bryan@grauss.com </a> This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level.
